Qalupalik is an Inuk underwater creature that lures children into the water by humming. Qalupalik, like Näkki, is the scary creature that parents tell their children about as a way to keep them from going too far out into waters.
lyrics
Hummmm
Mmmmmm
Come, I call you
Come, I call you
Hummmm
Mmmmmm
Here you come now
Here you come now
Hummmm
Mmmmmm
Coming to me
Coming to me
Hummmm
Mmmmmm
Here you are now
Here you are now
Hummmm
Mmmmmm
Now you’re with me
Now you’re with me
Hummmm
Mmmmmm
With nothing left
With nothing left
Hummmm
Mmmmmm
My youth stays in me
Youth stay in me
You stay in me
Qalupalik
Forever
